Building trust is just as important as building great software. Designed from the ground up to respect your digital boundaries, fulgo operates on a strict “local-only” philosophy.
Data Collection & Telemetry
You can rest assured that fulgo does not collect, harvest, transmit, or sell your personal data. There are no tracking scripts, no analytics engines, and no crash-reporting frameworks quietly running in the background. What you read, how fast you read, and when you read are completely your business.
Local Storage & Library Management
All EPUB files downloaded through the app are stored strictly on your local device. When you browse your library, fulgo processes the metadata and generates your reading statistics entirely in-memory and on-device. Your reading habits never leave your phone.
OPDS Server Credentials
To allow you to connect to your personal Calibre library or other private catalogs, fulgo allows you to save OPDS server addresses and login credentials. These credentials are saved securely to your device’s local encrypted storage. At no point does fulgo transmit your private server information to any external or third-party servers.
Third-Party Services
Because it is designed to be a standalone, distraction-free environment, fulgo contains absolutely no third-party advertisements or hidden tracking SDKs. It connects directly to the OPDS catalogs you explicitly choose (such as Standard Ebooks or your home server) and nowhere else.
Changes to This Policy
If the architecture of the app ever changes in a way that requires external data processing (such as an optional cloud-sync feature in the future), this policy will be updated, and you will be asked for explicit opt-in consent before any new features are activated.
